Cube7 Interiors to convert vacant secondary into new Academy

Cube7 has been awarded its latest education project, procured through North West Construction Hub (NWCH), securing a £32,000 scheme for the EFA (Education Funding Authority) to develop a new Academy School in Bebington on the Wirral.

 

Occupying a vacated secondary school site, available due to the amalgamation of three local schools into one new Academy. Polar had already completed an initial enabling project on site to carry out minor refurbishment works and service alterations, allowing the new primary school to offer a Reception, Year One and Year Two intake from the start of this academic year.

The main refurbishment project will commence in January 2015 and complete in time for the new school year in September

 

Cube7 will carry out a comprehensive refurbishment of the existing building, including the installation of new glazed acoustic class rooms, doorsets and acoustic ceilings. The building’s interior will be remodeled and new mechanical and electrical services installed throughout. The existing hall will be retained and upgraded, and Cube7 will create a new staffroom, office areas, kitchen and reception area.
